The disruptive and exciting technologies offered by these upcoming startups are key to our success as an industry. Especially in the midst of a global pandemic and one of the world’s worst economic downturns, our LabEight* Africa pioneers represent a light at the end of the tunnel.

All 5 companies in this year’s cohort have high growth potential and are ready to take on the industry challenges they have been selected to solve.

Founders in the current program will be part of a structured, individualised hands-on curriculum. They will receive hyper-personalised support and will be mentored by dedicated advisors. Also, they will have the opportunity to network with industry insiders; which is essential to a startup’s success. Additionally, each founder will have opportunities to participate in regular brainstorming sessions, workshops, and peer pitching sessions to foster peer learning and engagement with other founders in the cohort.

Following their graduation from the programme, each business will have access to scale-up and support through our network, as well as stand the chance to receive investments from our Fuel Fund.
